Base Compensation:  $32.50 DOE, fully paid healthcare benefits. 

About the Role
Dual Wield Studio is seeking an ambitious, highly-motivated producer to assist with the variety of projects we handle on a daily basis. From speaking to partners and clients about timelines and costs, to helping plan projects from start to finish, if you’re a person who likes seeing an idea turn into a physical product, this position might be for you! 

We’re looking for someone who is ambitious and wants to make change in the industry, who has ideas about how those changes can be implemented internally and then externally. We’re looking for someone who isn’t satisfied with “good enough” but actively wants to better the world around them through whatever means are available to them.

Producer Primary Job Functions:

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Anticipate project roadblocks and production issues based on knowledge of logistics and production landscape.
  • Create and track long-term projects utilizing our project management system Infinity. Experience with Infinity is not required but will be useful. 
  • Maintain regular communication across multiple platforms with partners/manufacturers to ensure production process and timelines are progressing as needed.
  • Liaise with partners/manufacturers to address order details and address any questions, as well as route questions to appropriate team members when needed.
  • Track and maintain production process documentation, including task annotations, updates, contacts, and product iterations.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing partners to place orders and track order process through to completion.
  • Consolidate product specifications into manufacturer-approachable order formats.
  • Coordinate between manufacturing partners and DWS team to ensure all art files are correctly formatted and production work proofs are checked.


Requirements:

  • Experience with production: this does not have to be limited to merchandise production. If you have experience in video game production or similar tasks we would be very interested in speaking with you. 
  • An ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Creative and innovative skills with attention to detail

Nice To Have:

  • Multilingual: if you speak another language in addition to English, this would be helpful.
  • West coast time zone, for ease of coordination. 
  • Ability to travel, when it is safe to do so. (Conventions, trade shows, manufacturing tours.) 
  • Experience as an Artist, Graphic Designer or similar role
  • Portfolio of completed graphic designs and creative projects
  • Hands-on experience with graphic design software and image editing tools (e.g. Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator)
  • Proficiency with production tracking and management toolsets and software such as Jira

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times, but not often. 
  • Travel may be requested but Dual Wield Studio does not have any plans to do in-person events (or have an in-person office) while the pandemic is in effect.
