Dragon Age - May 2025 Update

Dragon Age - May 2025 Update

Hi, everyone!

We’re here with our third preorder update for the Dragon Age: The Veilguard items in our first collection. We’re getting ever closer to the finish line with this collection, with just a few more outstanding products.

And as we’re hard at work continuing these products, we’re very close to finalizing next steps with our new warehouse. However, there’s still lots to do after–our stock has to get sent to them, they’ll be doing a hand count to confirm inventory, and we’ll be sending the Dragon Age products currently housed with one of our staff members over to them.

Once all that is done, orders should start going out! As a reminder: your preordered items will ship together once all items in your order have made it to our new warehouse. So some orders may still have to wait until these outstanding items are done!

Without further ado–

Dragon Age: Solas Keychain Plush

Note: Pending licensor approval.

We’re on the next iteration of the Solas Keychain Plush! On the left was the last sample from April, and they just sent pictures of this new one a couple days ago, and…is it just us or does the side graphic STILL look the same size? We’ve gone back to ask them to reduce it again.

Dragon Age: Blue Lyrium Dagger and Red Lyrium Dagger Pins

Note: Pending licensor approval.

The Blue and Red Lyrium Dagger pins are fully approved by BioWare. Hooray! We have asked the manufacturer to proceed with bulk production.

Important note: we originally intended for these to be made with glow-in-the-dark enamel. This has been changed to a fluorescent enamel that glows in UV light. Above, you can see the Blue and Red Lyrium Dagger pins brightly glowing under a UV light.

Note: These are pictures of our first round pre-production samples..

For the Blue Lyrium Dagger Pin–the glow-in-the-dark enamel didn’t fully coat the metal of the pin itself, which resulted in a patchy and inconsistent appearance. We tried working with the manufacturer to add a base layer so the glow-in-the-dark enamel would sit on top; we also explored changing the mold of the pin.

For the Red Lyrium Dagger Pin–the coloring of the glow-in-the-dark enamel was too dark to our liking and similarly had issues with patchiness in the appearance against the metal. The manufacturer couldn’t get that bright red we were looking for while using glow-in-the-dark enamel.

In the end, Dual Wield Studio and BioWare decided this fluorescent enamel stayed true to the original intention of the pins–to glow!--and ultimately looked closer to their in-game counterparts with the fluorescent enamel instead of the glow-in-the-dark enamel.

Dragon Age: Gloaming Lantern Enamel Pin

The Gloaming Lantern Enamel Pins are done and here! Because we’re in the process of changing warehouses, they’re sitting in one of our staff members’ apartments for the moment.

Dragon Age: Solas and Rook Prints

We are still waiting on the next round of pre-production samples! More updates to come.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard Companion Keychains and Companion Standees

The bulk production is done and here! BioWare still needs to receive their contractual final samples before these are fully approved and ready. We’re waiting for the new warehouse so we can make sure these don’t get held up in customs crossing the border into Canada (did you know BioWare’s offices are in Edmonton?).

As a reminder: your preordered items will ship together once all items in your order have made it to our new warehouse.

Thank you all so much for your patience! See you next month for the latest update.
